The Role of Finance and Facilities Director
- To set and oversee the implementation of financial and accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with the Academies’ Financial Handbook.
- To advise the Headteacher and Governing Body on the development of a business plan and budget, including a long-term financial strategy for the future development of the school.
- To lead on the maintenance and development of the premises and support services to ensure the best possible environment for teaching and learning in the context of the School Development Plan, adhering to best value principles.
- To have overall responsibility for the security of the school site.
You will need to be a strategic thinker and good communicator as you will form a vital part of the Senior Leadership Team. To be the next Finance an Facilities Director previous school based experience in not essential, you will need to have knowledge of financial planning, managing budgets, premises and staff, combined with good interpersonal skills and the desire to work in a fast paced, high achieving education setting.
