An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious HR Manager to join the UK’s market leading shower company.  You will be passionate, self-motivated and comfortable working within a structured environment with formal reporting processes. You will have great Employee Relations skills and a genuine desire to continually improve and deliver a customer focused HR approach in all departments.

Reporting to the Managing Director, as HR Manager you will be pivotal in identifying and leading the business to make the next steps in effective Employee engagement, succession planning, recruitment and Employee Relations as well as skill identification, staff training and ongoing development.

Key Responsibilities or the HR Manager:

  • Managing the HR and Reception/Post team
  • Responsible for recruitment, occupational health and training budget for the company
  • Point of presence for GDPR
  • Employee Benefits – PMI, Pension Scheme and Sharesave
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are up-dated with legislative needs
  • Lead the regenerated Health & Safety Programme
  • Ensure the business remains compliant at all times with the latest employment law legislation
  • Payroll – ensure key information is passed to our finance department accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain key reports ensuring that they are available to managers, key stakeholders in a accurate and timely manner
  • Assist in supporting the external coach in the management training programme

HR Manager Key Skills Essential

  • Significant experience as a HR Professional, ideally at management level
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification
  • Employment Law and GDPR knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage teams effectively
  • Experience of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience in all Employee Relationship processes

Key Skills Desirable

  • Management/Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Experience in Opera 111 HR system
