A multi-product specialist offering a wide range of engineering components and technical services to all areas of industry are seeking an HSEQ Professional to join their expanding team in the East / South Midlands. Their technical and supply specialists work with companies across the UK to find, implement and then maintain solutions to help you meet your productivity and reliability objectives at the lowest total cost of ownership.
As an HSEQ Professional you will:
1.Develop a plan to visit and audit all ascribed operational locations in a 12 month period.
2.Complete and maintain records of audits, corrective and preventative actions using agreed company standard format documentation.
3.Create enforcement notices where operations and or employees fail to comply with company, national, international standards, and legislation.
4.Investigate and compile management reports detailing remedial actions/recommendations on accidents and incidents as required.
5.Write technical and management system reports and produce general communications for companywide circulation.
6.Ensure all employees have competence in developing Risk Assessments as required, auditing that these Risk Assessment are fit for purpose.
The ideal HSEQ Professional will have the following skills and experience:
1.Previous experience as a lead auditor or as an HSEQ practitioner.
2.Detailed knowledge of systems and standards to support Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management e.g. ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS1800.
3.Understanding of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet structures. Understanding of cash management and debt collection
4.Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
5.Grade A* - C GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics.
6.Higher Education in Health and Safety or Engineering is preferred.
